A newswire site for Mars related news. The news collection produced by our own Gerry Williams and available on this site likely will contain all stories in MarsNews, but the site does offer interesting features like a comprehensive set of category listings, a database that goes back to 1997, a forum, space events calendar, etc.
New Mars forum
This site is funded by the Mars Society. The site has many sections but the most active is its forum, which this links directly points to.

Very well made and detailed interactive model of a Mars habitat. Requires Macromedia flash player plugin. This site is an evolution of design work that had been conducted for the Society's Flashline Mars Arctic Research Station.

MarsQuest Online
This site allows you to virtually explore Mars, using real data from the Mars Exploration Rovers and Mars Global Surbeyor. You can virtually fly over a satellite view or drive a rover. The data has not been updated since 2004 but it is still a very fun and educational site.
